Newborn Care: Gentle Beginnings for a Healthy Start

At Pediatric Services 360, our newborn care begins the moment your baby arrives. Our experienced team provides gentle, family-centered support from hospital to home—caring for your baby’s growth, feeding, and development every step of the way.

All newborns should be seen in our office within 1–2 days of leaving the hospital, followed by visits on a recommended schedule to closely monitor weight, jaundice, feeding, and early development.  To ensure a smooth first visit, we ask that all newborns are preregistered with our office before delivery whenever possible.

We know those first weeks are full of excitement, questions, and new routines. Our team is here to guide your family with confidence—and that includes caring for mothers, too. With the support of our certified lactation specialist, we provide expert breastfeeding guidance and compassionate help for feeding challenges during this important time.

At Pediatric Services 360, we’re committed to giving your newborn—and your family—the healthiest, most supported start. During RSV season, we highly recommend that your baby receives the antibody injection called Beyfortus® (nirsevimab) to protect from RSV, a serious respiratory infection that can be life-threatening in the young ones. Protection can alternatively be provided through maternal vaccination, RSV Vaccine (Abrysvo®)  during pregnancy depending on timing and eligibility. If your provider for obstetrics does not offer Abrysvo® please contact our office to coordinate this important part of your pregnancy care.
