Asthma Care
Asthma & Allergy Management: Breathing Easier, Living Better
At Pediatric Services 360, we provide comprehensive care for children with asthma and allergies, helping families manage symptoms, prevent flare-ups, and keep kids active and healthy. Our pediatricians are highly trained in diagnosing and managing these conditions, offering care that’s both expert and compassionate.
Diagnosis may occur during a sick visit, when your child is wheezing or showing allergy symptoms, or during a preventive care visit based on parent concerns or exam findings. Once diagnosed, we create a personalized care plan focused on improving comfort, reducing triggers, and supporting long-term control.
Testing and Ongoing Care
As part of your child’s asthma management, we perform pulmonary function testing at least once a year—or more often when monitoring medication changes. This non-invasive test helps us evaluate lung function, track progress, and fine-tune treatment for children age five and older.
Education is also central to care. We take time to review inhaler technique, provide guidance on device care, and teach families how to reduce exposure to common triggers. Each child receives a personalized Asthma Action Plan for home and school and, when needed, a Food Allergy Action Plan.
Children with asthma should be seen regularly—typically every 3 to 12 months, depending on how well their symptoms are managed. These visits allow us to adjust treatment, refill medications, and ensure your child continues breathing easily and thriving.
