Appointments
At Pediatric Services 360, all visits require a scheduled appointment to ensure each patient receives dedicated time and thoughtful, uninterrupted care. While we are not currently structured for traditional walk-in visits, families are encouraged to call the office for urgent needs so we can determine the best same-day available option.
To help us stay on schedule and provide every family with the attentive, relationship-centered care we’re known for, we kindly ask patients to arrive early for their appointment.
- New patients: Please arrive 20 minutes early to ensure your registration is complete and anticipate a smooth first visit.
- Existing patients: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to verify information and prepare for your appointment.
If you are running late, please call us as soon as possible so we can determine the best way to accommodate you.
We’re committed to making pediatric care accessible for busy families in The Villages and Sumterville. To support your schedule, we offer early morning appointments starting at 7:00 AM as well as evening appointments. We also offer self-scheduling for some visits through the patient portal.
We are evaluating the possibility of offering limited walk-in hours in the future during select morning or evening time blocks. If this would be helpful for your family, please share your feedback through the patient portal or with a team member during your next visit—your input helps guide how we grow and serve our community.
Types of Appointments
- Well Visits: Staying up to date with well-child visits is important for monitoring growth, development, emotional health, and preventive care at every stage. If you are unsure when your child is due for their next visit, please refer to the Well-Child Visits section under our Services page or call our office and we’ll be happy to assist you. Well-child appointments may be scheduled by calling our office, and established patients may conveniently self-book through the patient portal. Please note that routine well-child visits are designed to focus on preventive care, and simple, low-complexity concerns that can be accommodated within the scheduled time frame. For medical issues of moderate to high complexity, we request that a separate appointment be scheduled to ensure those concerns receive the appropriate time, attention, and thorough evaluation they deserve.
- Telehealth/Virtual Visits: We offer convenient telehealth virtual visits, allowing families to connect with our providers from the comfort of home for appropriate concerns such as medication follow-ups, behavioral health visits, and select sick evaluations. Our secure platform ensures personalized, high-quality care while saving you time and minimizing disruptions to your family’s schedule.
- Medication Refills: We make every effort to review and renew routine medications during preventive visits whenever possible. For unforeseen requests of maintenance therapies, refill requests can be submitted conveniently through the patient portal. Patients with ongoing or chronic conditions require periodic follow-up visits to ensure safe and appropriate monitoring.
- Oral Food Challenge Appointments: Oral food challenges are scheduled, medically supervised visits designed to safely evaluate whether a child has outgrown or truly has a suspected food allergy. These appointments are conducted in a controlled setting with careful monitoring before, during, and after food exposure to ensure your child’s safety. Because these visits require extended time and preparation, they must be scheduled in advance and after a provider has reviewed the child’s history and, when appropriate, completed allergy testing (such as skin testing or blood work) to determine whether a supervised food challenge is safe and indicated at our office. Our team provides detailed instructions prior to the appointment to ensure the safest and most accurate results possible.
- Other Appointments: If your are not sure about how to schedule your appointment, we welcome you to contact our office.
